Just FYI,

GameStop now lists used hd-dvds. $12.99 each. None instock online, but you can search local stores.

Local to me, Towson, MD has Last Samurai, but that was it.

UPDATE: To get the listing, in the search frame, select HD DVD from the pulldown, leave the keyword field empty, then click search. There's 11 titles listed.

I might buy them used, if they're not too scratched. A lot of them might just be returns from people who thought they were standard DVDs.

I'll buy them used. They're guaranteed to work from GameStop (just like buying from Blockbuster). They're discounted enough (about 50% for the $25 titles) to make used worthwhile.

Normally, GameStop will sell a game for $20 new and $18 used. What's the use there... but $25 vs $13, thats a big difference!
