Used EHD to transfer programs now what?

I backed all my recorded programs from my Hopper to my backup EHD and then restored to my new HWS. I used a spare EHD for this and now find that the EHD cannot be seen by my Windows 7 system. Does anyone know of a way to get the EHD formatted back to where Windows can see and use it, or am I stuck with a "bricked" EHD

Any help on this would be highly appreciated!

Right-click Computer, click Manage, click Disk Management, delete the Dish partitions and format.

In Windows.....

Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Storage...Disk Management

It will show your drives and should show EHD as unknown device, or something like that

Right clck it, choose Format...NTFS
