Would electrical wire work for satellite, coax, or telephone cabling? Would it work better particularly if it was used as phone wire because of it having larger diameter wire?

Would work fine for telephone cabling, but it's overkill.

Talk voltage is -48DC

Ring voltage is 90 VAC

Not good for dbs satellite due to interference and poor impedence match.

I figure it would be overkill for a phone and was wondering about the interference issue for satellite from receiver to dish. It would probably have interference issues for use as coax also wouldn't it? I had some old electric wire tore out that we do not plan on putting back in to be on the safe side. I figured I could find some other uses for it. Would it work pretty good as speaker wire?

has anyone heard of CableAmerica?
