use Dish Network HD Dish for Directv?

I don't have Dish Network any longer but still have the HD dish set up. What do I need to look for to see if I can use it with my HD Directv receiver? Just reposition it for DTV satellites, or change out the LNB?...or more?

Not worth it. You'd need to modify the LNB arm, replace the LNB, and preposition it.

The LNBs are set up to receive only their specific providers.

Not waste your time. Get a slimline dish from Directv.

If you can modify the dish with a legacy lnb, it's good for camping... Or eBay

For home, yes but I wouldn't bother. Get a Slimline.

For camping, RVing, tailgating. Absolutely, I bothered and use it all the time.
