I you sure you are talking about USB, not HDMI? What is the model number of your set?

If its like mine its for a thumb drive, you can view pictures or play music from it..

I am no t ure why you would have "several" USB ports. Some sets have it for music and still photo display as Vurbano said. Some have one that is used to load firmware upgrades. But that gets us to two. How many do you have?
