This will be obvious after you read it, but here goes.
If you set multiple weekly timers to catch the same show (typically due to the failings of the 921), sometimes you'll want to force a timer to skip once without recording anything else, and without waiting for Mr. Blinky to give you the Cancel option. Here's how to do it:
The part I liked was being able to Skip one and delete two all from the Timer Conflict screen.
Now watch - Eldon will change it so the T.C. screen closes itself as soon as an action resolves the conflict.
That's OK. You'll be returned to the guide, so now "Select" one of the "fake" timers, and you'll be taken to Timer Management where you can delete both of the "fakes".

- Go to guide and scroll to the timer to be skipped.
- Move up or down one channel and hit Record.
- Repeat. This will cause a timer Conflict.
- Go to the timer to be skipped, select it and hit "Skip Once", "OK"
- Now go to the other 2 timers and hit "Delete", "OK"
