US Soccer needs a miracle to advance....and gets it!(FINAL GAME SPOILERS)

If Brazil plays the way the did against South Africa, then US may have a chance. Odds are against them, but they will be desperate. I say, 2:1 US ;)

Brazil winning with a big score against US would not surprize anyone. But I am going for another miracle! ;)

That was my prediction for Sunday's game.
I'll predict 2-1 since it is the average score of a soccer game

Interestingly, the average score in a soccer game is 2-1 and in a football game is 17-14 (equivalent to 2.4 - 2). This means that there is not that much more scoring in a NFL game vs a soccer game. Many think that there is not much scoring in soccer...Perhaps because there are more shutouts in soccer than in any other sport (I joke about it as well).

Just for comparison the average score in a MLB game is about 5-4.

The live coverage is on! Whatching right now.
Reminder: it's on ESPN, not ESPN2 as previously announced.

Earlier today Spain has won the third place against South Africa: 3:2 in extra time.

Thanks for the info Ilya. My TivoHD caught the programming change, but it moved the event to record on ESPN SD. Thank goodness I get to watch this in HD. I very rarely lost an event in the years I had the E* HD DVR, but so far the Tivo has been 100% regardless of last minute programming changes.

Anyway, just curious if VOOM is showing La Liga on RushHD or did they drop the coverage when WorldSportHD went away?

You mean the International feed of RushHD? No, I don't think they have La Liga.
