US Directv in Costa Rica

Do anyone know if U.S. Directv will work in Costa Rica, and if the same antena will be apropiate ?

If you can receive enough signal for the receiver to lock on the signal it will work. You will need a much larger dish than the 18" standard dish. Try www.dbsforums.com they have a Latin American forum that may help.
