On another note... might be time for me to get rid of my 110/119/61.5 setup and go with a 1000.4 setup and check out the weather in Little Rock. Only thing is I'll have to keep a 110 for OTA guide info.

I've been a dish customer for about 12 years and recently got into the turbo hd and got a upgrade to superdish for 110, 119 and 129 to accommodate the new HD channels. Now they come up with local hd for little rock and the only way I can see them is on 77? This doesn't make any sense to me at all. Will they be mirrored on 110 & 129 eventually? Besides isn't the EA for west of Mississippi river? I'm totally confused and wondering what the hell is going on. Someone please help me. I've fallen and I can't get up!

Yeah I figured maybe next week, if we're lucky. Had my hopes up. It's kinda influencing whether I order 1 or 2 dtvpal dvrs, though. Being able to have those two sat tuners record hd locals would save the family some grief and i would just get 1 pal dvr.

I highly doubt you'll see them duplicate the Little Rock, AR market on western arc too, but you never know what they have planned for Ciel-2.

You'd lose OTA guide info by getting a 1000.4 system and using 77w? Why?

So it appears to me that they are wasting space as none of the new Turbo upgrades in Arkansas have 77 or at least in my area of central AR. Go figure! It seems to me that when I was upgraded that these issue would have been addressed. Oh well, live and learn.
Direct has already uploaded Ft. Smith HD and they are 1/2 the market that L.R. is. I wish now that I hadn't upgraded with the 2 year commitment.
