upgrading?

Hi folks newbie here, I have a dish 300 that has a dish pro lnb and a dish311 reciever, I also have a dish 522 that was given to me. I have heard from several people that a dish 500 loses signal easier than a dish 300, is this true? We get our programming from sat.110, I want to add locals and superstations. Would I be better off getting another dish 300 and a sat 119 lnb or just go ahead and get a dish 500/1000 or maybe a super dish?

Dish 500 is good if pointed correctly. Don't see why you would want to pay extra money for bigger dishes which are harder to point.

get a Dish500 or a SuperDish if you want 129 as well. but Dish doesn't install SuperDish's anymore so it's on you to find one
