Upgrading from VIP722k

Hi - I have a leased VIP722k receiver. Recently, the power went out in my area and after it came back on I have a hard drive failure 311. I've tried all of the troubleshooting with no avail. The obvious solution is to have DN replace the receiver. Since it is the older VIP722K, it will likely be an upgrade to a newer model receiver.
Here are my questions:
I only have 2 TVs that that are connected to the 722k - what would be the recommended upgrade?
Would the upgrade be able to be split like the VIP722K Duo?
The dish is a DishHD with a DPPlus LNB - will these need an upgrade as well?
Will there need to be new wiring? Can I install the new one myself? Two reasons - 1. Save money on installation costs. 2. I currently stay at a different location for long periods of time, so I take the receiver with me. If I need to upgrade the wiring and dish, then I will need to upgrade those at the other location. Would like to do that myself.
Do the new models have the OTA module? Or, do I need to purchase an adapter?
Is there a monthly cost increase for upgrading?

Thanks for the assistance with my questions - very much appreciated.
