Hi All,

Right now we're on a standard definition receiver (322G) with two rooms being hooked up from it (coax running between the two). We're on the America's Top 120 package at $44.99.

We're looking to upgrade to HD/DVR since we just got a 50inch TV. What would it take to upgrade to the Hopper for the two rooms? How much would it cost?

The Dish site only appears to list information for new customers.

Thank you :)

First off, welcome to satelliteguys. :) Second, if you go to the hopper zone stickies there is a place to request info from the DIRT members regarding Hopper Upgrades. They are actual DISH agents and are very very helpful, knowledgeable, and get it right the first time.

Cheers

The DVR fee is $6 / month. The Multiroom viewing fee is $4 / month and each additional joey is $7. Plus any upgrade and/or installation fees. If you only have 1 HD TV, and a second SD TV, and want only DVR functionality a VIP 722(k) box may fit the bill. You'd only only pay $6 / month for the DVR fees, with 1 less availble tuner and no PTAT. The 722 works like your 322 with an SD TV2 output to your second TV.

Hi, please send me a PM with your account or phone number and the four digit security code on your account and I will be happy to advise you of the cost for a Hopper/Joey upgrade and how it will effect your monthly bill. Thank you!
