We want to hook up 4 tv's. We currently have a 625 receiver hooked up to 2 tv's. We have legacy lnb and a 21 switch. We are thinking of buying the 322 receiver that would let us use that on 2 additional tv's.

What would be the best switch and lnb's to buy to upgrade from the legacy so we can watch on 4 tv's.

Does anyone have the 322 receiver? We would be using it in the basement and one floor above. I wondered if the remote was an issue and if we would be able to use it in this configuration.

Thanks, Patty

For a dish 500 a DPP Twin would do what you want. The 322 uses the same remote configuration as your 625 IR for TV1 and UHF PRO for TV2.

yep, like boba says the easiest way to go is to replace your legacy twin lnb and sw21's with a dish pro plus twin and use dpp separators. that way you do not need a separate switch

Another advantage is that you do not need another wire going to each of the receivers by using the DPP and the separators. In addition, the check switch only does one switch check for each satellite instead of the 30 some checks it has to do with legacy equipment with any of the DP or DPP lnb/switch setups.
