upgraded to flat screen

so. i bought a new flat screen to replace my iving room flat screen [biiiggggerrrr] and moved my living room flat screen into the bedroom..
so now i have a hd dvr int he living room and a sd box in the bed room with the flat screen..

what would be easier.. convincing d* to upgrade my bedroom to hd, and hopefully not paying a mint, since i lease.
or buying a hd box off like.. craigslist. and having them activate it?

Either way the newly activated unit will be a lease; so why not call DirecTV, find out the cost first. Buying off the net always runs a risk; do a search here and you can see more than a few users that have trouble getting them activated for one reason or another.
