I already have decent FTA Ku Standard Definition setup.
I also have HD home theatre setup used mostly with BD/DVD and local HD.

I can not upgrade to C system because of wife/neighbors factor.
I am considering upgrade to the HD AzBox.

I am not sure if the purchase of HD 4:2:2 receiver for FTA Ku band use only is justified at this moment.
Is it better to wait one more year because now it is not enough of HD programming/feeds on a Ku bands and next year for the same price I can buy better FTA HD box?
Would I benefit from the 4:2:2 option when I am limited to the Ku bands?

Advice will be appreciated.

If you currently don't run into 4:2:2 feeds that you're dying to see , you might as well wait until you need it. Personally, I think much of the best stuff available on Ku IS 4:2:2 chroma, and I've had to resort to PC based DVB PCI solutions to tune it in. That's more kludgey than a single box doing all the work, I think ( even though I'm known as a PC nerd ) . Once the AZbox got to the point of reliably handling all the streams, I had to have it. [edit] Great baseball game on in about 20 minutes. Yep, you guessed it, 4:2:2 chroma HD [/edit]
