Update Satalitte Lists

I am new to FTA. I got a motorized dish with HH90 and 33" dish. I got a receiver from Europe (ASTRA). I did not connect the dish yet but I did operate the receiver and changes the Long. & Lat. to my location. The satellite that shows on the receiver are for Europe and Asia. Will the system update the Satellites once connected to the dish? or there is something I need to do?

Don't know anything about the Astra receiver, but the Receivers I have will allow you to rename a Satellite. Of course you would them change the sat location of the sat you rename to coincide with the sat you are putting in the receiver, so the HH90 will take it where it's supposed to go. Good Luck!

On this side of the world, no it does not automatically update the satellite list. I think in Europe it does if a satellite changes name.

You would have to enter all the info for the satellites on this side of the globe
