Why would they want to order more of something that is not up to date? Why do not get the 622's in instead of outdated 942's? Its just an expensive 721 now unless you want it for the HD OTA tuner reception.

Resale. Good if you have existing HD Pack. maybe they don't want to pay the high price for the 622. Dish doesn't have the best track record for new equipment. Take your pick.

I have the old HD pack and also I will be sending back my leased 522. So I will now get to record my local OTA in HD instead of SD. I may trade it in eventually and save $100 on the upgrade to a 622
