I'm looking to purchase a universal remote to replace the 5 or 6 remotes I am currently using. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would like to stay in the $150 or less range.

I have a Hitachi HD set, Dish 622 receiver, JVC DVD player, Kenwood receiver, and an antique VCR. Any suggestions?

What is the make & model of your Kenwood A/V headunit? Does it have a learning remote? That would be the cheapest and easiest way. My Yamaha came with 95% of the codes and anything else is easy to program, so no spending extra $$ on yet another remote.

You can also look at Harmony, Universal, or I like this Cnet review of some of the newest universal products sorted by function and budget.

I listed that in the 1st reply but he had no questions or comments on that or the other option; guess Geronimo got him hooked up.

And if you want to go cheap a Philips 8 in 1 can do it for less than $20.00. My dogs are chwers and I have two of these as backups. Cheap insrance if nothing else.
