Unable to create "seek" timer

Since the new cui was downloaded to my hws's, I have not been able to create a timer via the search function. I had one created prior to the new cui that worked perfectly, but after the cui, it did not record. I deleted it & now can not add it back

What gives?

yes I knew about th 4x ff, but not the seek timer

So this isn't possible now after this so called upgrade??

It is possible for some programming as long as the program is on the schedule or near schedule. It is not as good as it once was.

The new interface gives you a list of programs that match what you are typing. You then have to pick from the list. The problem occurs when the program you are seeking is not available in the list. This is one example where the new interface was a downgrade from the old.

I also really do miss the 4X speed on my Hopper3. I used 4X a lot when watching Indians baseball.
