UFC 67 in HD on dish?? (Now YES)

Hi All,
I'm curious if Dish will offfer the UFC 67 fight in HD. I know the UFC was promoting it in UFC 66 but didn't know if Dish would be transmitting in HD.

Anyone hear anything?

Just found out UFC 67 not available in HD through Dish...

But is available in HD on DirecTV. That just sucks!!

Nope, they just replied to an email this morning that they are showing the SD version only I looked on DirecTV's website and you can get either the SD version for the regular price of $39.95, or the HD version for $49.95. If Direct can do it, why can't Dish just use the HD PPV channel to show this event?

UFC 67 is available in HD on Dish. It shows in my guide for 9:30 pm on Sat 2/03 on channel 9467.

I just saw it too and I was even able to purchase it using the guide for the same $39.95 SD price! That's odd, though, since I even got a second reply from Dish telling me that they have no plans to carry future UFC events in HD, but are always open to suggestions. I guess this just adds to the overwhelming evidence that CSR's don't have a clue what's going on.

Thats really great news because I too received an email saying its only being shown in SD. My guide only goes 2 days out, how do you check that far ahead?

The DVRs have much longer guides. I know that the 622s have 9 days. I believe the other models have about the same.

The commerical i saw said $49.95 for the HD, but i too saw its $39.95 if you go to order it... Order now before they fix the price error.
