The only differences I noticed between my previous cui build and U226 is that I have the new accessibility menu
This is what the accessibility menu looks like and it verbally talks you thru it as well

A big fix is my external HDD is recognized again! Sorta. It sees the drive, shows it 98% full but the recorded shows are not listed. But at least I can use external drives again.
Yeah, but I want to download the new CUI, but do not want a new interface with major problems and I would consider this a MAJOR PROBLEM. Ond step at a time sucks on major software issues. They should either fix it or get rid of it. Are there any other major problems with the new CUI? All Dish software has minor problems. If you bought a car that worked like Microsoft Windows, you would probably paint lemons on it and park it in front of the dealership.
I had u221 but today u224 was pushed. U221 also had the blank ehd screen. U224 did not fix it. Obviously u226 doesn't either. And no, waiting does not make it work.
There is a bug. It starts to load it, but never populates the view. It does load 3 underlying items: ptat, rentals, and sources. You can't see them, but you can scroll through them and see the 3 descriptions of them on the right.
I was sure they wouldn't start forcing this update on everyone without resolving this. Been annoying not to have the EHD during the holidays.
Oh, and you can select any of the three. If you choose sources you can switch back to the internal, you can also choose rentals and see those or ptat and see that.
