Every now and then, I usually check up on TWC's L.A. region site to find about any new channel additions, and they said that between November 19 and sometime around this coming February, they're adding more channels (25 total) to their current HD lineup. I've mentioned in another thread here that during the Summer Olympics, they added at least 10-15 new channels, including our local MyNetworkTV station (KCOP). As it stands, Time Warner Los Angeles carries up to about 40 HD channels. Here's the lineup of new HD channels they're adding by February (channel number in parentheses): Animal Planet (451), Travel Channel (452), Planet Green (453), The Weather Channel (454), FX (455), Biography Channel (456), Science Channel (460), Toon Disney (which becomes Disney XD in February; 461), Cartoon Network (462), Fox News Channel (465), Fox Business Network (466), ESPNU (467), Speed Channel (468), NBA TV (470), NHL Network (471), The Tennis Channel (472), Lifetime Movie Network (475), Hallmark Movie Channel (476), HBO east (481), Cinemax east (482), Showtime east (483), The Movie Channel west (484), Starz east (485), InDemand Sports HD (732), InDemand Sports HD2 (733)
