Ever wonder why TWC is always last to get any distribution agreements for new channels? Check this out:

Hey, I'm happy that they are doing so well. And, it's cool that since TWC went public, we now get to see little nuggets like this. But, wouldn't it be nice if they used some of their record profits to keep customers happy (improve technology, add significant and popular national carriage agreements)? Guess not ... Britt needs a new private plane.

Rates go up every year because programming providers rates go up. The Cable companies usally try to maintain the same profit margin rather it be 5% 8% 10% or whatever it is. So as costs go up your rates go up to maintain that same margin.. Why do their profits go up? Because the more you have to pay the higher that 8% is worth its simple math. and 5million is nothing Home Depot CEO got 250 MILLION TO LEAVE!!! and he sucked.!

and um TWC has always been public, owned by AOL / TimeWarner... Now they are their own "entitity" it just makes it easier for you tosee such information, without looking far.
