TVLand's First Original Scripter "Hot in Cleveland"

TV Land's first scripted series is out toningt. I probably would be far less interesed if it were not set in my home town. But it looks moderately entertaining, kind of new "Golden Girls". I guess the fact that is is the Golden Girls remade slighly forgives the fact this is an original series from a network that is supposed to be dedicated to old TV.

And of course the other news is that it co-stars 88 year old Betty White.

I love BW to death, but the show is weak. Valerie Bertanelli should stick to Weight Watchers commercials. Bailed about half-way through.

TV Land Renews 'Hot in Cleveland' for Season 6

The cable network has renewed the half-hour sitcom for a sixth season consisting of 24 episodes. The announcement was made during rehearsals for the 100th episode taping Friday.

I find it hard to believe that there is 24 episodes in a season. Seems like we get like 12 tops and then there gone again. Maybe they split the season into two halves and show it them in different times of the year.
