TV fried by DVR component out?

I have a LT-42Hvi Olevia 42 in LCD and feeding it via component is a dishnetwork DVR 622

Tonight I was watching and started seeing a kinda picture that looked like the camera had a screen in front of it for a couple min.... then blank

tv turned off and won't turn turned on since

DVR would not start for more than 1 min for about 30 min.

Now the DVR is working on HDMI and regular composite but not on the component video.

All equipment was hooked to surge protection and it is still godd and other equipment hooked to same power is good and normal condition.

Is it possible that the DVR component out fried my LCD?

Still won't make any response to power.

Very doubtful. Never heard of that happening.

I would think it more likely that the TV itself is the culprit.
