Tv Antena/Cable in

With a antenna connected to this input, and I push the TV/video button on remote one, and TV 1 switches to the antenna.
When I try this using TV 2 remote TV 2 stays connected to the satellite.
I even tried setting TV 1 to the antenna and checked TV 2. TV 2 still connected to the satellite.
Not a big deal just wondering why?

The reason is simple DISH feels you will watch the locals through their service, there really is no need for you to have an antenna connected.

There wouldn't be a reason to have an antenna if Dish carried ALL of my local channels . . . but they don't. Besides, the antenna allows you to watch a third live program when TV1 and TV2 are busy recording.
 

Is horse racing tv part of the top 120?
