Just swapped from E*'s 622.

Is there a way to force a guide download, or do you just have to wait?

I have to leave Monday for a couple of weeks and want to set up all my timers asap?

The EPG usually fills up in about 24 hours or so. You could do the old standby of manually entering time/channel/duration until then. Plus, remember that there is a CE rolling out tonight. If you participate, the clock might start again on the EPG population timer. So if you are in a hurry to get your shows added, you may want to skip this CE release.

Ill just wait. I dont have to leave until Tuesday. I just could not remember how long it took.

Ill prob stay away from the CE since my wife will be stuck with it in case it acts up, as Ill be gone about 3 weeks.(used to do them when they first started on DBS Talk)
