trying to find ku band!

i am trying to find ku band with my primestar. i found my satellite finder and am a bit confused. i have never seen an error with it til now. i hit a 10 on it which for those of you who havent seen these is the highest number.so i go into the house to check the sats and blind scan with no tps and no sig quality at all. usually a 10 on these is at least 50 pct quality. i moved the dish to see if it was the meter and the sig goes back to 1,so it isnt the meter, i notice when i blind scan the thing goes really slow like it is going to pull in the tp and then nothing but flashing. i put my hand in front of the lnb to see if it effected it and it did so i dont know. i will try another sat.
