Traxis 3500 and Dish Pro LNB

Even if it doesn't have a setting for "stacked" LNBs...
and even if it doesn't find the signal at the correct transponder freequency...
I would be surprised if you cannot trick it into receiving by using blind scanning.

There was a thread around here recently about inputting 11.25 and some other LO frequency ...
Try that.

Wait a minute here!
You were in on that thread!
If the Traxis cannot, then it's the fault of the receiver.
Was talking with PSB earlier and he said the Traxis 3500 would not work with a Dish Pro LNB... I tried the other day and I could get nothing with the Dish Pro.
Using the same Dish 300 and the Dish Pro LNB I can get NASA and the Music Channels with my Neusat SP 6000... but no go with the Traxis 3500

Thanks Anole

It stacks all the Channels vertically right?

I want to get NASA and Angel One which are right polarity. Since Right equals Vertical It should work? I think? I have a Direct TV LNB on my Dish 300 now but when I have it connected and I have it connected to port 4 on switch but with it connected
I lose signal strength on the other sats when I disconnected it the signal strenth goes back up. I replaced the cable and still have the same problem. So I'm thinking it must be the Direct TV LNB causing the problem... I have a dish pro so I'm going to try that... just wanted to make sure it would work.

Other signals down when you hook an LNB to port 4 ?
Sounds like a bad switch
Anyone else have an opinion on that?

Also, why not try the LNB without the switch, both the Legacy one and the DishPro one...?

Yes when I hook the Legacy LNB to port 4 and then switch to the other ports the signal levels drop and I can't lock the weaker Channels on the other sats... when I disconnect port 4 Signal comes back up and all is fine. The Legacy LNB works great when connected to port 4. It just drops the signal on the other ports.

It must be either the switch or the legacy LNB?

ok I hooked back up the Dish Pro LNB Scanned in NASA on 119. Works great, found out a Dish Pro LNB will work with the Traxis 3500.

Then connected it to port 4 on my switch... then I check the other channels and no Horizontal Channels on G25 and AMC4 and half the channels on G10R are gone.

NASA and Angel One work fine. As soon as I disconnect 119 from port 4 I have signal again on all the other Sats. I changed the Legacy LNB to the Dish Pro and replaced the cable still no luck.

Would a switch cause problem like that? The only thing left that I can think of is the switch but the switch works and switches between the Sats only I lose those channels I mentioned. I hoping someone may have an idea what it could be?

if this is a motorized Traxis 3500 setup there is a known problem with motor & disqec switch. Here's the fix for it.
Hi gabshere,

I have the newest update installed and it not a motorized system. I just at my wits end trying to figure out why this won't work.
