i have a superdish 105 type 1 i have for camping and what will happen when i take it out of its DMA to like des moines will i get my locals or what will happen?

If your locals are on 105, then it should still work. Currently all transponders on 105 (AMC 15) are operating in CONUS mode, meaning they cover the Continental United States. You will have to change your azimuth, elevation and skew for the new location.

which locals are you trying to get??

Des Moines is On 110 spotbeam…..

The spotbeam covers most of Iowa, Mn and Eastern NE

On the same spotbeams (2,8, and 10) are Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Minneapolis, Duluth (MN), Sioux Falls and Omaha

Your location says Illinois but in your sig you have a Dish500 at the house....which locals do you have?

Thats the thing I like about the SuperDish 105/121 locals they are conus which means you can take it anywhere in the U.S. and get your locals. That makes up for the big size of the dish to some.
