It looks like I was having problems http://www.satelliteguys.us/showthread.php?t=104916 because I needed to add/edit the transpondres. I looked in the manual and did not see anything automatic to serach for and update transponders. I got the pansat 2700A channel editer program, have it connected but it won't connect to the unit. There is nothing in the manual about the program at all and the helpfile is about useless. Well anyways, it looks like I am going to have to do this manualy. I saw the information on lyngsat but I don't know what it all means. Uhhh help.

On G10r Down Frequency 11719; Symbol Rate 27.687; Polarity Vertical. The level on that is 79 percent and the quality is 90 percent. I thought that was looking damn good. Well I figured out that I needed to ende the transponders manualy so I did but got nothing. I went to the lyngsat website and , for example, TP 5 so I entered the down freq as 11800, the symbol rate as 26657 and the polairy as vertical and got nothing. Then I tried tp 1, I entered 11720 for the down, and 27692 as the symbol and I set the box to vertical and I still got nothing.
I was thinking that beings the other signal was so strong that I ought to be getting SOMETHING out of these or maybe I am entering the numbers wrong.

numbers above are right (11720 V 27692 and 11800 V 26660) but if you're not aimed at the right satellite you wont get anything
I guess I am aimed right, I get this "On G10r Down Frequency 11719; Symbol Rate 27.687; Polarity Vertical" really good on G10r but nothing else. What is the best way to tell if I am aimed right? Also, I looked at my compas and eleivation and they were the same as the satfinder program gave me.
Okay now I found a bird with 35 transponders 334 channels. I have no clue what it is but I moved down and east a few degrees from I guess G13. I don't think its G10R as none of the transponders I entered manualy work at all.

I am on G10R and doing pretty good. I have some trees in the way, however I am getting pretty good sig and quality. I guess the 1m dish and the invacom is doing wonders for me. I am now considering getting a motor, however I dunno how the heck I am going to adapt my dish from 2 5/8 down to 1 5/8. I guess I COULD put up another dish and grab the PBS's on AMC3.
