transfering shows off dvr

hi all, what is the fast and easyest way to move shows off a 625 dvr? getting HD tomorrow and need to tape some shows off for family.

Realtime playback and record either to a VCR or a DVD recorder.

That's the only way I could figure out. It would be nice if there was an easier way, but......

The fastest, but definitely not the easiest, is to rip the programs off disk using PVRExplorer.
