Toshiba showcased the Ultra-slim external HD DVD burner in Berlin at IFA 2007. Along with this external HD DVD writer, Toshiba also had on display the Super-Multi drive.
The new external HD DVD burner device comes in the USB 2.0 interface. It weighs just 165g and has dimensions of 128 x 126 x 13mm. These oh-so-slim drives will let you watch HD DVD movies on your laptop/desktop PC, upscale ordinary DVD movies for improved picture quality and also let you burn gigabytes of data on the HD DVD media.
