Tornado week on Weather Channel

Weather Channel is promoting "Tornado Week" shows starting Monday Apr29. All new primetime shows and specials, and the tornado hunt team will be going out again this coming week.

The Tornado 360 show that is on now (8pm C) will repeat at 11pm C, it is the show about the Tuscaloosa tornado in Apr 2011.

Was watching a "tornado chasers" truck live broadcast as the vehicle drove along an interstate somewhere. Too jumpy (road is bumpy) to read the signs to know where it was. I always like watching these live driving videos to try and fine a familiar landmark or something easy to recognize from our travels. Sky looked blue with a few fuzzy cumulus clouds, no tornadoes so far.

Is the weather channel currently FTA? I know that at one point they were on AMC-6 @ 72W but I haven’t looked lately.

I think their signal is encrypted now.

Yes, they still appear randomly in the NBC Mux on 72W. Sometimes they're there...sometimes they're not
