Right now they are busy trying to provide the "Lifetime Without DVR" service to Dish customers.

yes/no.. they don't offer it normally.. every once in a blue moon they come out with a retardly expensive (700 bux lifetime HD box) deal.. which isn't all that impressive when you find out cable is still going to charge upwards of 12 dollars per cable card for HD access.. woo freaking hoo..

Tivo has quietly brought back the lifetime plan to its DVRs - 399 if a new subscriber, 299 for exisitng subscribers (on May 15th)

Tivo isnt going anywhere. If anything, they may soon bankrupt Dish. Troll away somewhere else.
