Cool box and all. That is way too much money. Most people need to wait until it comes down to the $400 range. If you do that maybe it will come down faster.

and add the subscription fee of $12.95 makes it even pricier! but yeah, it's way cool looking!!

I saw on E-Bay a buy it now price of $1799. You get S3 w/lifetime service. If anybody bites on that...they're crazy.

And as stated in all the other threads on it the last few days, not being DBS compatible seems to make the price a bigger joke!

I disagree... as it uses Cablecard technology insteadof the old IR blaster stuff. the reason they cant get HD from the sat is that you arent supposed to be allowed to record HD unless its build into the box. it is a confusing legal issue.
