Hopefully I am posting this in the right place. I usually spend all my time in the D* forum but I was thinking of switching to E* and then I read yesterday about the lawsuit ruling that requires E* to disable Tivo functionality in the DVRs immediately and pay 96 million bucks in damages.
So, my question is, how much will this affect E* ? Will only certain features be disable in the DVR or
the full functions? Should I postpone any decision to switch satellite providers?
