ime Warner Cable customers in the midwest suffered a major outage overnight that the company now says has been resolved. Users in our Time Warner Cable forum first noticed the problems at around 10 PM last night (though others tell us their problems began late Monday afternoon). Down Detector indicates the outages hit users in the Midwest affecting Green Bay, Milwaukee, Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Louisville and Lexington.

The company says the outages have been fixed, but has yet to offer an explanation for the widespread problems.

"Time Warner Cable customers in the Midwest experienced intermittent issues with Internet and On Demand services this evening," claims Time Warner Cable in a statement. "Services have been restored for all customers. We are still working to determine the root cause of the problem."
