I am close to ordering a new Lenovo Thinkpad tablet PC. Looking at this model
I got to play with an X60 Tablet in O'Hare International a month ago; a nice guy let me check his out. I loved the text recognition capabilities in One Note; and it was light, and small. The one I am looking at is a Win XP Tablet machine - which is fine because 1) The college won't support Vista machines until Summer 2008; and 2) I really really do not like Vista.
The one I am looking at has an 80GB hard drive and 1GB of ram; my gut is that 1GB is plenty for an XP tablet. Yes?
I am not sold on the one from Newegg, and I can easily custom order one from Lenovo, but whenever I do that I tend to increase the price dramatically, adding more ram and hard drive space.
Thoughts on this tablet?
