If you log onto ESPN's site or hear any talk of the NFL yesterday, the first Jet you'd probably see or hear about would be the almighty ex-Cheeshead himself. (I'm not saying his name anymore btw in protest. I think we all had enough already).
Anyways, a sad thing happened during last night Browns/Jets game that you probably haven't heard about until now....

--Football is a violent sport and things like this are bound to happen, but you just hate to see it. The stadium was silent and most (I will elaborate on that in my next post), stood around Schable in support and in prayer. Best wishes in a full recovery goes out to Schable. I hope like hell he's allright!CLEVELAND (AP) — New York Jets tight end A.J. Schable was taken from the field on a stretcher and hospitalized Thursday night after a head-to-head hit in a preseason game against the Cleveland Browns.
The Jets were awaiting results of tests, but early reports from the hospital were positive.
Coach Eric Mangini says he encouraged that Schable has movement in his arms and legs.
Schable is in his second season with the Jets. He was knocked backward by Cleveland offensive lineman Cliff Louis while trying to make a tackle on a kickoff return. He remained curled up on the field until trainers turned him on his back, then placed him on a stretcher.
The Jets team went on the field as Schable was immobilized and carted away with 12 minutes remaining in the game. Schable gave a thumbs-up as he was being wheeled off the field.
