Eight years ago, I started with 501,301,301

A few years ago I added HD and got upgraded to 622,211K but had to keep 301 as they said they would only swap 2 receivers in a contract.

So now I am REALLY sick of the 301 - and I wonder what is the best way to get another 211K (or equivalent) ?

I am not in a contract anymore - I am sure that if I signed a contract, they would swap the 301 but I am not sure I want to sign a contract.

Any advice ?

As cheap as 211's are now, I'd just buy one.

How do you buy / activate a 211k apart from Dish ?

Dishstore at the top of the page will sell you one, or you can get a new one from ebay. Once you get your receiver hooked up, give Dish a call and have it activated. I've never been in a contract, and have always purchased my receivers.

Unless you think you might want to change providers within the next 2 years, I'd opt for leasing and upgrading.

I think I may benefit from moving to Eastern ARC - my locals are SD on 110 but HD on 77 - Does it cost anything or require contract to switch ARCs ?
