Thinking about switching from cable to dish with sling... I have some questions and appreciate any

I currently have two homes and I'm paying two different cable providers for TV. I was thinking about switching to dish with sling. I was hoping to use the dish with the Hopper w/ sling at one location and possibly use a sling catcher at the other. Is this possible? Is the Sling Media Sling Catcher Digital HD Media Streamer compatible with the Hopper w/ Sling? Thanks for any advice!

No its not compatible. You could use a laptop and video out to stream at your second home.

Software incompatibility introduced by Dish 2-3 years ago.

All I use is an iPad mini w/DishAnywhere app and an adaptor to connect to the tv. No sling catcher needed.
