Thiel Audio is making a big splash with its latest product release. The company just announced the CS1.7 Coherent Source floorstanding loudspeaker, which measures a hearty 9.5-by-11.8-by-36.5 inches.
It’s big, but also slick—and it packs in a lot of drool-worthy features. Featuring Thiel’s phase and time coherent design, this speaker has a new tweeter that’s based on the company’s popular CS1.6. It’s got a new voice coil, a new magnetic circuit, and a reworked aluminum diaphragm for better linearity and lower distortion.
