On December 31st, these two channels will officially split and become separate channels. Noggin will go 24 hours a day and “The N” will replace the Nickelodeon Games & Sports channels.

Thank god Viacom came to their senses and are splitting Noggin and "the N". Too many times have my kids turned on their TV wanting to watch Backyardigans and such, and getting Degrassi and other much too old for them to watch crap on "the N". Now I'll be able to block "the N" off the receiver in their play room.

of course I'll miss Moose A. Moose's "time to say goodbye" song, it was actually catchy.
