I noticed today that TheCoolTV was a black screen on my local affiliate (23-2 WUCW)

Found out (from a thread at AVS) that Sinclair pulled TheCoolTV from all stations

We are no longer carrying CoolTV on and Sinclair stations as of this afternoon.

The CoolTV has had issues in the past with providers due to non payment

This sucks. Cool TV on 40.2 is a black screen here too. But of course that sucky a$$ country bs is still on 40.3! Time to fire off a nasty email or 50.

In this case I blame theCoolTV...looks like theyve had issues in the past with broadcasters

Journal announced that they would file a lawsuit against the parent company of TheCoolTV for non-payment of broadcast services

I know last month Newport Television dropped them. I know Sinclair was their (cooltv) biggest provider to work with.

As for the Country Network, different owners.....and hate to say it but I really like that station ;)

Does your tv update automatically if channels are added or dropped on existing stations? Mine do and now both dropped 23-2 (goes from 23-1 to 23-3)

oof...this aint good for thecooltv

this morning they had 57 affiliates
tongiht they have 20

37 Sinclair affiliates

I think the Panny Plasma in the living room and the Sony in the den both do, but nothing has changed yet.

To each his own. :) I don't care too much for country. I liked the Tube...gone. Even with all the repeats I liked RetroJams....gone. Now the CoolTV.....gone. Feels like a conspiracy
I still haven't gotten over Rock 104 WRUF-FM flipping to Country after rockin' for 28 years, to compete with like 15 other stations playing country.
Still got 100.5 The Buzz though! ;)

really dont know. We have MeTV here already on another station. Looking at the charts of what station has what channels the only other station I see Sinclair using is ThisTV.

Maybe they'll carry the new TNN when it launches in a month

TheCoolTV is gone in Baltimore (54.2) as well. Just a black screen. I don't think it will be replaced with anything, but that's just my hunch.

New TNN is supposed to be on WJFB 44 in Nashville

The new TNN is supposed to launch on WJFB 44 according to Larry from Larry's Country diner on RFD-TV.

CoolTV is gone in Portland ME on 13.2 also (a Sinclair station). This subchannel has been nothing but trouble for WGME. Before CoolTV, there was the Tube and that channel suffered a similar fate. I would love to see ThisTV, RTV or AntennaTV come in its place. We all ready have 3 MeTV channels available (ME, NH & MA) so that will not happen.

nothing that I've heard of....hope Minneapolis gets it. From what I've seen online (press releases, their website) it looks like its gonna be good
