The Weather Channel Feed just went dead for a few minutes, now back on in both SD & HD.

a couple of minutes ago, i was watching The Weather Channel for coverage of Issac and boom just like that the feed went dead on the HD version, i check the SD version and it too went dead. anyone else on the Western Arc setup lost the feed of The Weather Channel. also is the feed out on the Eastern Arc setup.

and no it's not mine satellite setup as i live in North Texas, far enough away to not be affected by Issac yet, and also my reception issues which i didn't mention here will be fixed soon anyway.

anyone else not seeing The Weather Channel on-air now.

edit: SD feed went dead for a second, then came back on at 11:18 PM CDT, and i checked and the HD feed's working again, i guess it was an uplink issue at Dish's end.

Weather channel must of been having weather problems.;)

i don't know what happen, the Weather Channel is based out of Atlanta, GA, while Isaac is pounding New Orleans and areas around the hurricane. but it's possible storms may have formed there around Atlanta, or the uplink center went dead.

In looking at the evening news reports (just before the RNC), there were some nasties (long red streaks on RADAR) running quite a ways up the East Coast. I expect that the outages were weather related.

Not like the weather channel is worth watching anyways... Never any actual weather on it (if you don't count storm stories and other crap) and the major events that they DO cover you can usually get coverage on any of the news channels.

I'm losing channels on a receiver.

Had a chat with a CSR today.
