New episode tonight (4/27): The Vegas Renormalization

A depressed Wolowitz goes to Las Vegas with Leonard and Koothrapali. Sheldon's dream weekend gets ruined when he gets locked out of the apartment and has to stay with Penny.

You know, I'm given to understand there is an entire city in Nevada designed specifically to help people like Howard forget their problems. They replace them with new problems, such as alcoholism, gambling addiction, and sexually transmitted diseases.

Vegas, baby!

I loved this episode. The Vegas stuff was great with the "jewish hooker". I also cannot get enough of the Sheldon/Penny scenes. These two are hilarious together. :)

The thing with Sheldon and Penny is that while Penny has that natural draw based on nothing but her looks, interactions between the two bring out her comic skills, and really makes her a better actor.

And of course, the more geektastic lines she gets, the more attractive and desirable she becomes to the fans, and not just because of the eye-candy factor.

Like this one: "What’s wrong Superman, locked out of your big ice thingee?" :D

I am so mad

The *&$%$* Motorola HD DVR dropped the series recordings again. This time for BBT and HIMYM. Grrrrrrrr.

Need to see if Hulu or ABC online will post the episodes.

Unfortunately, I am stuck with Comcast and their stupid, buggy DVR for now. Something about a 40 foot maple tree in the neighbor's yard.

bummer. No full episodes of BBT. I did get to watch How I met Your Mother.

Is this because BBT is more popular, or is it contractual with Chuck Laurie Productions?

Not Chuck Lorre; but Warner Brothers. They won't allow full-streaming; hell, its not even available on itunes. They are concerned about value for syndication. Get with the picture morons, its the 21st century!

Makes sense, but I don't have to like it. They don't even offer it on Comcast VoD, where they copy protect the heck out of it. Given the restrictions, I'm sort of surprised that WB allows even first broadcast rights

Well, I am still p.o'd about Warner and HD DVD, so... double

I remember seeing it on Amazon Video on Demand the other night when I was browsing through on the Roku. I believe it was in HD too.

I looked at Amazon VoD. They had season 1 at $1.99/episode (as opposed to $18.99 for the whole season on DVD)

No season 2 whatsoever. They do have the pre-order set up for the DVD at $28.99
