As I head off to bed after watching a terribly botched telecast of the Tony's I want to once again say. D you suck!
These DVR's were garbage when you built them, garbage when you sent them to my house, and will remain garbage until you replace them with something that actually provides the HD experience worthy of all the hype and hoopla you heap on your horrid hind ends.

So what exactly was wrong with the program? I haven't seen any other complaints.... Which local affiliate were you watching?

Mine work fine and always have; of all the friends & family with DirecTV DVR only 1 has ever had an issue; a massive power spike that fried it; so what is the excuse for all of us?

You exaggerate a bit IMHO considering that the vast majority of users DON'T have issues..

The only thing that sucked about the program was that it wasn't in HD.

You have to wonder about the producers of any live event or 1st run series NOT being HD these days.
