The Road to SuperBowl XLIV: The Official 2010 NFL Playoffs Thread

Yes, the Jets run the ball well, but we saw what happened to Baltimore last week- Ray Rice was bottled up. Indy does pretty well against the run. These Jets are similar to the Ravens.

The Colts were ranked 24th in rushing defense during the season. That's not really too impressive. While both the Jets and Ravens love to run the ball, the biggest difference between the two teams is that the Jets' backs run behind the best offensive line in the NFL. Eventually, they will wear down the Colts' under-sized 'D' line and be able to run the ball effectively and control the clock, limiting Colt offensive possessions. Will this be enough for a Jets victory? Maybe. Maybe not. But if this happens, it will certainly make the game much more interesting.

A tad torn for the JETS vs. COLTS. One hand, I would like the JETS to win because it would drive ALL the Dolphins fans nuts because they beat the JETS TWICE!
ALSO, the thought of the JETS team in the HOME locker room gives me a perverse thrill. On the hand, I would like the COLTS to win because the city of Miami would be flooded with just about THE most obnoxious fans in all of sports. AND, to prove once and for all that the win against the COLTS was a fluke and a gift.

Big time miss there by Feely!

It started off great for the Jets too: a defensive three and out (after a first down), and then three first downs to control the T.O.P.

As predicted, the Jets defense has come to play!

At this rate, the Jets will have a 40:00-20:00 TOP advantage!

I forgot to post earlier....

I'm taking the Colts, but wouldn't mind if the Jets win either.

Kinda want the Colts because of the way the Jets got a gift win earlier from them.
It would be Ironic if the Jets win, seeing it was the Colts that allowed the Jets to get in .... or should I say , thier Coach.

I bet he doesn't pull the Starters today.
I also think it would serve the coach right if the Colts lost, they COULD have been UNDEFEATED this year and had much MORE to talk about.

Rooting for the Saint tonight, too much DRAMA with the Vikes, favre and all.

Then again, maybe he would retire if he got there again.
Maybe not.

Can't believe the play they Colts just ran, Peyton on a sneak ?
When they have Adaii and Brown back there ????

I hope we all expected the Jets D to show up and play well, I know I did.
Also, gotta give credit to the Colts D as they have played well this year, better than most realize.
Even with OUT Bob Sanders playing much.

Does anyone out there STILL doubt the J-E-T-S??? :D

Ok, WHO doubted the Jets, the way they've played last week ?
As usual, DEFENSE can WIN the SB. :up

Thier top D just gave up a WIDE OPEN Collie TD, a GREAT catch at that !

That said, the Jets did the same thing to the Clots D* with Braylon getting open deep earlier for the TD.
As a bonus, Braylon hung on to it !

That said, I hope the Colts win.

Jimbo,

Why? I'm just curious.

As a Patriots fan, these are SUPPOSED TO BE my two least favorite teams.

But I've always been a sucker for an underdog, and you have to admire the resiliency of the Jets
