Just went to see the film adaptation of Michael Connelly's The Lincoln lawyer. Extremely well done, and very faithful to the book. The first Connelly movie adaptation, Blood Work, was horrible. They completely ruined it. This movie, on the contrary, was true to the story, compelling in the story-telling, and only took minor license with the story.

It was one of Matthew McConaughey's best performances. He is always so hit or miss, and this won he hit out of the park. Having been very familiar with the Mickey Haller character from several books, McConaughey was perfect in the role.
